Annie Eagle

Headteacher

Annie has been the Headteacher of The Romsey School since September 2020. Prior to that, she worked across the sector in a variety of schools. She led on Student Support as a Deputy Headteacher at Romsey for five years; and led on Teaching & Learning at Bay House School & Sixth Form in Gosport for eight. She has also worked in a variety of school leadership roles in London, Bermuda, and the Isle of Wight. More broadly, she has worked as an Assistant Headteacher consultant with other schools across the south of England, has spoken at several national Headteacher conferences and has been a judge for The Teaching Awards, having gained one herself in 2002 for her outstanding teaching. Annie has a National Professional Qualification in Headship (NPQH), a Masters degree in Education, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education and a First Class honours degree from Loughborough University. During the course of her 25 years in education, Annie has remained steadfast in her commitment to ensure that young people have the very best educational experiences, enabling them to gain the confidence to excel both academically and personally.
