Chris has spent the past 10 years in education business management, specifically working with academies. Chris was Finance and Business Manager at Cams Hill School, Fareham; a SAT with a turnover of circa £10million for 7 years during which time he led on a wide variety of school business management aspects including year, month and year-end accounts, auditors, CIF and lettings

In September 2021, Chris moved to The Gateway Trust (TGT) as Chief Operating Officer. TGT turns over £11million currently with two schools, a nursery and a separate trading subsidiary. In the past 2 years, Chris has spent his time developing TGT finance and operations back-end systems and outward-facing reporting documents, enabling greater efficiency and effectiveness as part of TGT vision and moral imperative underpinned by key values of respect, aspiration, integrity, service and equality,
